Born in Victoria I grew up with a passion for photography, even making my own lenses. I like to compose colourful and energetic imagery and have spent many hours of enjoyment perfecting my art – and I am still learning. I enjoy the wonders of nature – it is the driving force behind my photography, creating images for others to enjoy. My love of the outdoors and nature is my place for taking photographs, both in Queensland and through out Australia. Travel overseas to such places as Egypt, South America and Asia has also inspired some of my work. Redland City south east of Brisbane is my home and I am a member of the, Redlands Creative Alliance, Yurara Art Society, Red Arts and the Australian Photographic Society. I have received recognition and awards from many local, National and International organisations. I exhibit with the Old Schoolhouse Gallery in Cleveland, in the Redlands, where I frequently sell my images. I have also displayed with other organisations in various art and photographic exhibitions and competitions. My personal interests include photography, camping, hiking, bushwalking, fishing, nature, conservation, travel, family, community service with Rotary, red wine and cooking.
