Congratulations to member @junitagrosvenorartist @junitagrosvenor for her acceptance into the inaugural @themorrisartprize
This wonderful showcase of local talent is being held on the Gold Coast - with the exhibition from the 3-11 March 2018 in the events arena at the Carrara markets.
With a total prize pool of $17,000, as well as promoting our local area and talent, this is a wonderful addition to our local art scene.
Judging is by esteemed industry professional Damian Hackett...

Exhibition opening - The Old Schoolhouse Gallery, Cleveland
Dear friends, please come and join us at the Old Schoolhouse Gallery for my show for the year! I will have a galore of new works, mostly in oil - still life and landscapes, in a classical style.
David Jacobs is a guest artist for the month, displaying some origami and his handcrafted musical instruments.
The exhibition runs from 2nd of March till Monday 2nd of April.
Opening night will feature live music by David and friends. A Theremin music for guests to play but not touch, and plenty of wine, cheese and nibbles
Something a little different, but really amazing! And the scale!!
