Artist Demonstration – Glass Artist Wendy Arnett

Wendy Arnett, our glass artist will be demonstrating how to take a sheet of glass and turn it into an interesting and functional piece for you to use at your dining table or gathering.

Wendy will talk about the processes used on Kiln-formed glass or fused glass.  The safety, designing, cutting, forming and firing in the kiln. Wendy will also cover the differences in glass and how important this is when working with this medium.

The subject piece will be her “Mouse on Cheese Platter”.  You will see it in its raw form and how it looks and works once it has been fired.
