I never tire of nature’s intricate tapestry, tone, colour, texture, light and shade in everything I see. I am also very tactile and enjoy the experience of touch, whether it is a little animal, a bird, fine mosses or massive forest trees, each is a unique experience. I do hope you are able to experience the multi sensory experience I try to achieve in my painting.

I began painting in 1980 studying with various tutors over the years in colour & design, watercolour, guache, charcoal, graphite and acrylic mediums.

My now preferred technique is the art of building my subjects in three dimensional water colour, finishing with guache and sometimes coloured pencil, ink or acrylic for different effects.

I have presented and sold my paintings in local exhibitions and at The Dogwood gallery in Miles Qld. My work has also sold through the Bunya Forest gallery in the Bunya Mountains for over10 years .I have had other private commissions in that time.
