About the artist…
Dessi Balinova has been creating art since her high school years. As an adult she
graduated as an Interior Designer and pursued a career in her field, while her
passion for creating art and painting persisted and has been developing those skills
over the years. Dessi uses expressively warm, bold, striking colours to help connect
the viewer with sense of vibrant life, everywhere they look. Her inspirations come
from nature and every-day life. The subject matter helps her connect with the
natural world around, and hopes her paintings transform the viewer to a place of
vibrant life, hope, possibilities and freedom, especially after a long day in the city or
an office. Although Dessi mainly paints landscapes and still life she also does
portraits as well.
